About PANIM A strong Jewish identity is the cement that will continue to bind Jewish Israelis together. This statement may appear to be self-evident, but in reality the Jews of Israel, particularly those defined as “secular,” often question the importance of fostering Jewish identity through education. Others tend to perceive Jewishness and Judaism as something monolithic. PANIM was founded to put pluralistic Judaism “on the map” in Israel and make it a much more central part of Israeli consciousness and discourse.
